Chicken Soup For The Soul it is a very good cat dry diet formula that includes crude meats and nutritive sources of fiber.

Chicken as the first ingredient and chicken meal as secondary ingredient give crude and concentrate protein from chicken. Cracked pearled barley it is a very nutritive, excellent quality grain. Chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols) it is a good source of energy and flavor, it is preserved with Vitamin E. Turkey meal adds more concentrate protein.

Considering the first 3 ingredients, the average rate of this cat food is 4 stars, which is excellent. Taking down 1/2 of a star because one of the ingredients it’s a carbohydrate (pea), the final rate it’s 3.5 stars, which is very good for a dry cat food containing carbohydrates on the main ingredients.

Very Important: Dry cat foods are not sufficient for a healthy cat diet and they must be mixed with canned wet food and giving your cat plenty of water at all times. The cat’s water intake must come from food and water.

After analyzing these 5 main ingredients it can be concluded that Chicken Soup For The Soul Dry formula is a good quality cat food for a maintenance diet of a very active cat, though, it only informs some of the 11 amino acids cats need in the food’s analysis. However, if you are looking for a gluten-free diet for your pet, I would research more.
