It is a great product, cats love it. After months of owning two water fountains is that the pumps can get dirty inside. I haven’t seen any information or videos on how to disassemble the wireless pump and cleaned with out breaking it. All it say is: do not drop. So finally, I took the step to open it. I was able to cleaned with a tooth brush. But I think a good video tutorial will be needed. Can you use breach to sanitized the pump? Please advice how chemical resistance is the plastic pump is. Thanks

In reply to Mary Ringshall. Hi Mary, sorry to hear that you have difficulty in your hands to deal with these things. What you need to do after replacing the filter is pressing and hold the button for 5 seconds to reset the timer. The duration of the filters are controlled by a timer so every time you change it you need to reset it. I hope someone can help you do that. Hope that helps and take care!

My cat fountain was great until change filter plugged it in now it continues to flash purple but the water is flowing good do you have to reset the filter to the white or blue light have turned it but it just keeps flashing lights I am sure it stayed on white light I am Disabled and have bad arthritis in hands
