Hi Carol, there are a lot of companies cutting down on costs, unfortunately. That makes our job to find the best for our cats a lot harder. But it’s possible with a lot of patience. Thanks for your comment.

I have had cats my whole life and never had all these illnesses these cats have today. I believe it’s junk in the cat food, water and most importantly, the litter. The litter dust is bad for humans too. They are closer down in the litter all bad for their lungs. Dust is bad. They don’t care about cats sadly.

We’ve been using the Tidy Cat light weight litters with our Litter Robot 4 for a while now, and there was just something we couldn’t figure out. We noticed that if we kept the cycle timer low (3-7 min), the poop would just stick and smear. We had to push the cycle timer up to 25-30 min, just so we’d get clumps that wouldn’t do this, and wouldn’t break apart. Unfortunately, this long of a cycle delay reduces much of the oder-related benefits of the litter robot. We’re trying Fresh Step Gain next.
