Hi, Deborah, When a cat has already urinary issues I highly suggest feeding him (as a long term diet) food that is the closest to the natural cat's diet. In this case I suggest dehydrated or freeze dried foods. Canned food is also a good option, but the formula needs to be highly nutritional. I suggest Instinct Original Grain Free Classic Pate Duck, or Castor & Pollux Organix grain free Organic Turkey Recipe.
