How often is it recommended to change the water. I just don’t know if I like my cat drinking day old water much less 30 day old water.

In reply to Katie. Hello Katie, when the filter indicator light is blinking it means you have to replace the filter. If the blinking light is still showing up after replacing the filter you have to long press the filter reset button at the bottom of the fountain until the indicator light turns off. This means the filter replacement was done successfully. I hope that helps!

My cats love this fountain. Our 19 yr old kitty has to have fresh running water or she won’t drink and will stand meowing loudly at a sink. The problem is that ever since I first changed the filter, the stupid filter light won’t quit blinking. The filter has been changed numerous times and it’s still blinking and the water won’t run continuously! Ugh
