In reply to Veronica Howes. Hello Veronica, the Catit is hard to assemble as I stated on my review. It is a good fountain but this fact makes it less desirable than other simpler units.

The manual is useless. No instructions on how to assemble the plastic parts that go somewhere from the stainless steel top to the filter pad – I think that’s where they go. Did my own hack and have 3 pieces left over. If someone can help that would be great. Too hard to return it to the US from Down Under. Concept is great. Execution sucks.

I am unable to re-assemble my fountain. I cannot find anywhere that shows the pieces and how they all go back together after cleaning before first use. I am considering just returning it. The manual is not helpful at all
